Potential snow this weekend
Temperatures not expected to warm up until Tuesday

By DREW SCARANTINO

The cold weather and blistering winds of late are leaving many eager for warmer weather. But things might just get worse before they get better. Friday will be mostly sunny and clear, but a 30 percent chance of snow after 4 p.m. on Saturday could make staying in this weekend more than just an option.

The upcoming holiday could be the beginning of slightly warmer weather though. President’s Day will have a high near 39, and Tuesday’s temperatures could reach up to 45 degrees. But don’t plan on enjoying the weather for too long. Although the temperatures will stay high in the 40s, Tuesday night and Wednesday bring another chance for more freezing rain.
