Little Rock Nine
Dr. Terrence Roberts, one of the first students to desegregate Little Rock Central High School in 1957, spoke Monday at Washington and Lee University about his experiences. Roberts and eight other students at the high school needed the protection of the Army's 101st Airborne Division, sent by President Dwight Eisenhower.
