Rockbridge Report VIDEO

Megann Daw reports.

Rockbridge County firefighters are asking county officials for an increase in their annual funding. The firefighters association says expensive equipment such as turnout gear, a swift water rescue boat and a new ladder truck, along with the cost of day-to-day repairs, make the bump necessary. Firefighters are asking for an additional $20,000 a year. They have not received an increase in eight years.
