(JANE LEE / Rockbridge Report)

Washington and Lee University physician Jane Horton says the Student Health Center sees a significant jump in prescriptions for the so-called morning-after emergency contraceptive pill following big events like Tear Night and Fancy Dress.

The pill can be taken up to three days after unprotected sex. W&L Students for Choice recently put up informational posters around campus about emergency contraceptives.  W&L Students for Life has not taken a stance on the Plan B pill.
