Gas prices skyrocket, local gas stations try to cope

Average gas prices are reaching an all-time high around the nation, and Lexington and Rockbridge County are no exception.  Many customers and retailers alike believe the hike in gas prices is a result of the war overseas, a greater demand and smaller supply.  Whatever the cause, pockets everywhere are feeling the strain.

Natural waste treatment at Boxerwood Gardens a success

 

The Nature-Emulating Waste Treatment System (NEWTS) breaks down wastewater from  Boxerwood’s toilets, showers and sinks using an ecologically friendly variety of micro-organisms, plants and animals.
