Stacey Grijalva reports on the Gospel Fest put on by W&L's Joyful Noise Christian organization.

About 100 people came together at R.E. Lee Episcopal Church on Saturday to pray, sing, dance, and celebrate their faith.

The annual event,  hosted by Washington and Lee's Joyful Noise choir,  brought together singers and dancers from all over the region.

Majestik Praise Ministries even mimed during its dance performance.

Community members of all ages jumped up, danced and sang along with the performers, who included children, students, and even W&L faculty.

Coordinators for the event said its purpose of was to draw the community together and worship at the same time.
