| A judge has sentenced Tanya Bane to five years in prison for felony child neglect that resulted in the death of her infant son last October. Bane has already served eight months of her sentence while awaiting trial. |
| Officials continue to investigate the origin of a fire that broke out at North Fork Lumber in Goshen Saturday afternoon. Rockbridge area firefighters battled flames for nine hours and managed to contain the fire to the company’s sawmill building, county emergency management and hazardous materials coordinator Robert Foresman said. |
