Two die in Missouri winds

By: Hilary Craig

Two people in northwestern Missouri died in their mobile home Thursday in what was believed to be a tornado.

Tornados also struck the southwestern part of the state, and thunderstorms damaged 25 mobile homes northeast of Tulsa, Okla., injuring five people. Doctors said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

In Pensacola, Fla., a tornado also touched down, injuring at least four people, according to a sheriff's spokesman.

The tornado hit a church daycare center and a shopping mall. The children were moved to safety because of ample warning of the approaching storm.

Storms also caused flash flooding in Kansas City, Mo. Flooding from the storm system is threatening farmers' autumn harvest in Iowa.
