A campaign season that didn't generate much voter interest despite what candidates identified as high-stakes issues ended today in an election that was not expected to bring any surprises.

Four of five County supervisors
challenged in election
Four of the five Rockbridge County supervisors had challengers in this election. Only Carroll Comstock, of the South River District, was unopposed.

Sheriff Day faces fired employee
