Remembering a friend, mourning a son

Chuck Volpe is suing Lexington over his son's death. At the same time he's working with city officials to find a long-term plan for the dam.

Dylan Fitzgerald and members of his Boy Scout troop built a memorial to make sure their friend would never be forgotten.

Dylan Fitzgerald built a memorial to Charles Volpe at Jordan's Point. The memorial, dedicated last month, includes a bench, an engraved piece of limestone from the Volpe family's property, and this new tree. Charles wore red bandannas when he played tennis.
