Raindrops Aren't Fallin'

But that doesn't mean trouble for everyone

Farmers are having a hard time finding feed for their livestock.
But local winemakers harvested some of the best grapes they've had in a long time.

Agriculture is one of the biggest industries in Rockbridge County. When a drought hit the county three years ago, everybody noticed. Because this summer and fall were drier than usual, farmers may not have enough hay to feed their cattle this winter. But local winemakers rejoiced in a dry harvesting season and sweeter grapes.
